View a site's Classroom Directory and library materials
Site-level administrators can view classroom titles, grade levels, and teacher email addresses, as well as perform other actions, such as changing a teacher, editing a classroom library, or sharing public links.
If district-level users have the Destiny permission Allow site access, they can retain their district view and options, while also accessing each site's classroom directory and library materials.
To view a classroom library:
- Log in to Destiny.
- Do one of the following:
- If you're logged in as a site-level administrator, from the header, select
> Classroom Library.
- If you're logged in as a district-level administrator, from the header, click
to choose your desired school. Then, select
> Classroom Library.
The Classroom Directory page appears.
- If you're logged in as a site-level administrator, from the header, select
- Do any of the following:
- Click your school name to see a list of all its classroom library materials.
Notes:
- To search by title or author, enter a term in the field, and click
. Search results appear on the Books tab. To clear your search, click
.
- If the Support Other Classroom Items setting is enabled, click the Other Classroom Items tab to see those search results.
- To see all titles in a specific classroom, select the desired classroom from the Classrooms drop-down.
- To see all titles in a specific grade, select the desired grade level from the Class Grade drop-down.
- To sort materials alphabetically by title or author, select an option from the drop-down.
- To share a public link to the school's classroom libraries, click Copy Link.
- If the Public Lists setting is enabled, next to the desired title, click
to see its details.
- To search by title or author, enter a term in the field, and click
- Next to your school name, click
under Classrooms. Then, select the desired classroom library to view its materials.
Notes:
- To search by title or author, select an option from the drop-down, and then enter a term in the field, and click
. Search results appear on the Books tab. To clear your search, click
.
- If the Support Other Classroom Items setting is enabled, click the Other Classroom Items tab to see those search results.
- To sort materials alphabetically by title or author, select an option from the drop-down.
- To share a public link to the classroom library, click Copy Link.

- Click your school name to see a list of all its classroom library materials.
To change a teacher:
You can transfer a library if a teacher leaves a district or moves to a different classroom.
- In the row of the classroom you want, select
> Edit Classroom Library. A pop-up appears.
- Select the Change Teacher checkbox, and then type the email address for the teacher you want to transfer the classroom to.
- Click Save Classroom.
