Export classroom libraries

If a teacher leaves a district, or you are managing unused classrooms, a district or site-level administrator can export a classroom library to a CSV file.

Notes:

  • You can export classroom libraries which have a Claimed or Unclaimed status.
  • The Title Management setting must be enabled to see audience levels.

To export a classroom library (for district-level administrators):

  1. Log in to Destiny as a district-level administrator.
  2. At the top of the page, click Classroom Library. The Classroom Directory page appears.

  3. Next to the desired site type, click Caret icon. or the site type name to see a list of schools in your district.
  4. In the row of the school you want, click Caret icon. under Classrooms.
  5. In the row of the classroom you want, select More Options icon. > Export Classroom. The CSV file downloads to your browser's Downloads folder.
  6. Click the file to open it. Exported information includes titles, authors, ISBNs, and audience levels.

    Note: You can import the CSV file to a new classroom on the Settings tab.

To export a classroom library (for site-level administrators):

  1. Log in to Destiny as a site-level administrator.
  2. From the header, select Destiny Applications icon. > Classroom Library. The Classroom Directory page appears.

  3. Follow steps 5-6 in the district-level administrators section above.
