Disable manual title entry

District-level administrators can disable the option for teachers to add classroom titles manually. This helps avoid duplicate and incorrect entries.

Note: The 'Manually enter titles' setting is turned off by default.

To disable manual title entry:

  1. Log in to Destiny as a district-level administrator.
  2. From the primary navigation bar, select > Classroom Library. The Classroom Directory page appears.

  3. From the sidebar, click Settings.
  4. In the Classroom catalog and title options row, click Collapsible menu icon..
  5. Deselect the Manually enter titles (Teachers can only add books from search or import) checkbox.

  6. Click Done.

Note: If the setting is enabled, teachers will see the 'Add Title Manually' option when adding a book.
