Disable manual title entry

District-level administrators can disable the option for teachers to add classroom titles manually. This helps avoid duplicate and incorrect entries.

Notes: The 'Manually enter titles' setting is turned on by default. When this setting is enabled, teachers can see the Add Title Manually option when adding a book.

To disable manual title entry:

1. Log in to Destiny as a district-level administrator.
2. From the primary navigation bar, select > Classroom Library. The Classroom Directory page appears.

   

3. From the sidebar, click Settings.
4. In the Classroom catalog and title options row, click .
5. Deselect the Manually enter titles (Teachers can only add books from search or import) checkbox.

   

6. Click Done.

Note: Once this setting is disabled, teachers can add books only by searching for them or importing them.
