Access a guest cataloger link

District and site-level administrators can add books to specific classroom libraries on the Classroom Directory page via a guest cataloger link.

Notes:

  • A guest cataloger link is only available for libraries with the Type 'Classroom'.

  • Admins can access a guest cataloger link for both Claimed and Unclaimed libraries.
  • The guest cataloger link is only active for 24 hours.

To access a guest cataloger link (for district-level administrators):

  1. Log in to Destiny as a district-level administrator.
  2. From the primary navigation bar, select Applications menu icon. > Classroom Library. The Classroom Directory page appears.

  3. At the top of the page, under Classroom Directory, click your desired site type. A list of schools in your district appears.
  4. In the row of the school you want, click Collapsible menu icon. to see a list of classrooms.
  5. In the row of the classroom you want, under Actions, selectMore Options icon. > Add Books. The Add a Book page opens in a new tab.

  6. To add books, use a Follett scanner or search by title, author, or ISBN.

To access a guest cataloger link (for site-level administrators):

  1. Log in to Destiny as a site-level administrator.
  2. From the primary navigation bar, select Applications menu icon.> Classroom Library. The Classroom Directory page appears.
